Join NASAA and our host, the Texas Commission on the Arts, for three days of learning and networking opportunities for state arts agency staff and council members, and experience the energy and rhythm that Austin, The Live Music Capital of the World®, has to offer.

Our agenda includes engaging sessions, briefings, and special events showcasing the artists and cultural landmarks that are uniquely Austin. Assembly 2010 offers something for everyone:

  • Back by popular demand, briefing sessions on a wide range of topics keep you up to date on the latest research and best practices.
  • New this year, dialogue sessions engage you in discussion and debate about major challenges and trends affecting state arts agencies and their constituents.
  • Also new this year, flashes of inspiration offer a lightning round of presentations on innovative ideas from across the country.
  • All peer groups gather in sessions that provide learning and networking opportunities for staff and council members.
  • In the Assembly 2010 Resource Area, share and exchange examples of your most useful and compelling materials with your colleagues.

Whether you are coping with a current crisis or focusing on the future—or both—Assembly 2010 will be a source of information and inspiration. All state arts agency council members and staff are encouraged to participate. Don't miss this chance to harvest great ideas, reconnect with your colleagues and draw strength from your state arts agency community.
