The Relationship between NEA and SAA Grantees
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), state and jurisdictional arts agencies (SAAs), and regional arts organizations (RAOs) award grants directly to organizations and individuals advancing the arts across the nation. The NEA and SAAs/RAOs have a considerable number of shared award recipients. In FY 2007:
