STATE ARTS FUNDING GROWS IN FISCAL YEAR 2007

Legislative appropriations to state arts agencies increased in fiscal year 2007. NASAA's latest Legislative Appropriations Annual Survey reports that appropriations to state arts agencies currently stand at $362.7 million or $1.21 per capita. Between fiscal years 2006 and 2007, state arts agencies gained $32 million in state funds, an increase of nearly ten percent. To learn more about state funding for the arts:
