GRAMMY Foundation® Seeks Grant Applicants from the Gulf Coast Area

The GRAMMY Foundation® grant program for 2006 will dedicate a portion of funds to support music archiving and preservation projects for Gulf region collections. The online application is currently available at www.grammyfoundation.com and the deadline to submit applications is May 1, 2006.

GRAMMY Foundation grants, which typically range from $10,000 - $40,000, will be awarded to organizations and individuals to support efforts that advance the archiving and preservation of the music and recorded sound heritage of the Gulf Coast area. The GRAMMY Foundation's grant program is generously funded by The Recording Academy. Now in its 18th year, the GRAMMY Foundation grant program has awarded more than $2 million dollars to more than 200 noteworthy projects.
